The Skripka Lab is led by Prof. Artiom Skripka at the Department of Chemistry at Oregon State University. We specialize in creating (nano)materials with nonlinear optical properties for optical computing, imaging, and sensing applications. We use colloidal synthesis methods to develop highly nonlinear lanthanide-doped nanoparticles and interogate them with specially designed spectroscopy techniques. Our mission is to create optical materials that empower sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective photonic technologies.
